CostumeCon/CorFlu
Well, I did it. I got through the Masquerade and I managed to survive the rest of the con.

I had a lot of fun.

There's a DVD of the Masq and I have to watch it for three reasons. : first I need to see what the original version of my COn report was like. I had written it and to buy some time, I read it to the audience and then somehow I managed to delete it without thinking. I think it was a good piece, though. I also have to find some fo my jokes.

The Historical Masq was really good too. Mr. Hartlove did really good job MCing and I thought all the entries were really nice. Now I just have to find the year when the Randy Savage interview before WrestleMania 3 is eligible for the Historical Masq and I'll enter!

I wish I'd had a chance to look in on CorFlu goings-on, but I was too busy running around. I'm plannign on hosting the 28th CorFlu during 2011 in San Jose (SiliCorFlu? CorFlu: 28 Days Later? CorFlusion? CorFlume?) and that shoudl be fun. It's funny as there were 4 former WorldCon chairs at CostumeCon and I'm betting there were 5 or 6 at CorFlu.

Well, you could use 28 Weekends Later, but you'd have to wait until Corflu 29.

You also missed Virtual Corflu, where we in the chat room spent much of the time doing Mystery Science Theatre 3000-style commentary on the events on the video feed. Which got especially random when we were watching the banquet.

Had a lovely time at the Masquerade and you were a highlight of it. Literally last night when we watched the DVD we'd fast forward through some yawners, then unpause to see what you said. Thought you should know.

Any idea what caused the unprecedented Screen event?
